Theater

Theater
The theater environment sets the stage for social, linguistic, and cognitive development. Our Players are introduced to various thematic virtues throughout each year. Imaginary play, memorization and confidence building play activities are the focus in this learning environment.
In conjunction with the culture, learning environment students are invited to enter the world of the historians, sociologists, and anthropologists – world history and world events that they are currently studying. For instance, when learning about the American Revolution our players will dress in costumes and use props to act out the various scenes they have read or studied about in their culture class. At any time, you can enter this learning environment and be greeted by a caveman, Joan of Arc, a pharaoh, George Washington, Amelia Earhart or Ghandi. This exciting program offers many diverse learning opportunities that promote creative self-expression, teamwork, and exploration and development of associated vocabulary.
